How long does it take to process the sea moss gel and how is it shipped?

Please allow up to 12-15 days for any gold or fruit flavored Sea Moss

Our items are made-to-order to ensure that all our customers receive the freshest products available. We do not use chemicals or preservatives so it must go through all of its stages to ensure that you will receive the maximum amount of benefits that this awesome line of products has to offer.

All gel will be shipped in jars. We no longer ship gel in pouches because they have a high probability of breaking during shipping. If you choose pouches, we will ship your gel in a jar, but also send a freezer pouch to use for freezing your gel. DO NOT freeze the glass jars, they will break when frozen. Use a freezer-safe container to freeze your gel.

Your gel is packaged with several dry ice packs. It will not arrive cold, but closer to room temperature. This is OK. Refrigeration extends the shelf life of the gel but is not required overall. The ice packs can bust during shipping. They are nontoxic. Simply rinse off the ice pack residue and dry. Because of the laws of Chemistry, gels that contain fresh organic fruit will be more watery than any of the others you may have purchased. This is because the acid in the fruit changes the chemical properties of the gel. This might cause condensation or the gel to appear watery when received. Shake your gel and place it into the fridge and it will re-gel in a few hours. Some customers are used to boiling sea moss which produces a more gelatin-like sea moss. WE DO NOT BOIL OUR MOSS. Adding heat to sea moss immediately begins to decompose the elements in the moss. As we learned in High School Chemistry class when heat is added to elements they die.

Sea moss contains 94 essential elements and this is the reason why we make sea moss gel, so you can reap the amazing benefits of what sea moss is truly capable of. When sea moss is boiled, there are no longer 94 elements left in the moss. All that is left is the carrageenan in the sea moss, which is why the texture is like gelatin and has absolutely no nutritional value. In short, the texture of our sea moss is not solid, because we haven't added heat to release the carrageenan and kill the elements. It is going to be grainier (especially when we add things like elderberries or really any fresh fruit) and not as solid as sea moss that has been boiled. We want our customers to get what they paid for. Eating boiled sea moss is nutritionally useless, and has an extraordinarily high carb content (worse than rice!).
